Year 8 Water Safety with Essex Fire & Rescue Assembly

This session will equip students with the knowledge and skills to understand the risks associated with water and how to stay safe in and around different environments, including rivers, lakes, canals, beaches and coastal areas. Students will learn how to recognise potential dangers, make safe choices near water, and understand what to do in an emergency to help protect themselves and others. The session aims to raise awareness, promote responsible behaviour, and build confidence in staying safe around water.
